The Bell family consists of mother Yumiko, father Kurt and daughter Emily.  Yumiko is Japanese and Kurt is American while Emily has duel-citizenship.  We live in the city of Shizuoka near the coast of central Japan under the shadow of beautiful Mt. Fuji.  Yumiko grew up in Shizuoka and studied abroad in the United States.  Kurt grew up in Southern California.  Yumiko and Kurt met at Humboldt State University in 1987 and were married in 1992.  Emily was born in November 2000.
